We had a truly fantastic weekend at your lovely place. We needed to find a place for the Chris Isaak concert at Konocti for my birthday. I am so glad there was a 2 day minimum, because that was not even enough time to enjoy every aspect of this very special house. We, of course, saw the web pages but they didn’t come close to doing justice to your beautifully appointed home and the spectacular views! We saw numerous falling stars late at night because the sky was so clear.
We came during a heat wave, with temperatures in triple digits, but we were always comfortable. Your AC works great and it was very comfortable after the sun went down. We came from Santa Rosa, only an hour away, but felt like we were in another state or country. The lake and mountain views are spectacular! Your decorating was also much better than any other rentals in the area – we also liked the Asian influence. We feel you must be fantastic people because we could feel the warmth and serenity of everything at this very special spot of beauty.

WOW! What a spectacular view of the lake! We loved lounging in the hot tub! It is so nice to get out of the city (SF) for a few days, especially to a close, quiet destination like this. Not far from home, but far enough to feel like we were on a real vacation. We loved the privacy and sense of seclusion! What a terrific spot this is! We came up to the lake for a long weekend. On day one we were welcomed by a doe and her two fawn. They hung out in the orchard all weekend – very cool. My wife and I wanted to mention how much we enjoyed staying at what we came to call the "dream" house above Clear Lake. First, the house was spotlessly clean yet had a very welcoming atmosphere that made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed. The tasteful mixture of art and furnishings helped orchestrate the sense of "the perfect vacation retreat".
The wood stove in the living room gave us a cozy warm feeling at night and somehow it all went perfectly with the view. And The View! Talk about being cradled by Nature! This lake house has it all! I don’t think I can adequately describe how totally restful it was to swing in the hammock chair on the back enclosed porch, gazing out over the most beautiful expanse of peaceful lake and shore I've ever seen. We felt like we had died and gone to Heaven! What was so utterly remarkable about the "dream" house, was that the view was wonderful no matter which room you were viewing it from! But if I was forced to choose a favorite view, it would have to be from the marvelous hot tub nestled in a protected area of the deck. I can only tell you that the enjoyment generated with my sweet heart there, with the warm water, the beautiful lake and the stars twinkling down, while the night air played on our faces, was nothing less than food for the soul.
It was, without a doubt, the best money I have ever spent, for a vacation getaway. Our dreams came true here, and you'll certainly be hearing from us again. Thanks for a remarkably enjoyable experience!

Your lake house is THE perfect vacation getaway! The hot tub on the deck provides a spectacular view of Clearlake. My husband and I spent hours sitting in it relaxing. When we were not in the hot tub we were luxuriating in the house which is light and gracious. The art and furnishings are tops. The house made me feel like I was in an exclusive bed and breakfast but I had the entire place to myself! Vacationing at your lake house was as special as any trip I have ever taken to Mendocino or other coastal local, but without the long drive! Everything about our stay was perfect. Carolyn surprises me by finding a special place for the two of us, but she won't say where. So we just load up and drive off. It turns out that this place is in the Clearlake Riviera, around the far side of Mt. Konocti. So we get out, and there's this redwood-decked house hanging out over the hillside with nothing in front of it except an absolutely breathtaking view of Clear Lake, from one end to the other. We go in, and we start laughing and laughing as we walked around the house enchanted - the house is done up so nicely. Every kind of comfort, every possible electronic entertainment, and a perfect hot tub with extraordinary lake views! All I can say is that it was an unbelievably wonderful and incredibly healing time for us. Thank you so much.

Thanks for helping us find this perfect vacation spot. We found the pristine setting beautifully serene and intimate, with breathtaking panoramic views of Clear Lake. We especially enjoyed the several vantage points from which to view the lake--in the house, on the screened veranda, and on the high-level deck. The outdoor jacuzzi adds a great touch to the relaxed ambience. This vacation house is wonderfully clean, fresh, and private, and the décor was perfect. Our family comes to Lake County every Thanksgiving. We spend a few days sitting and reflecting on all we have to be thankful for. Being out in nature helps us to do this. We went hiking at the State Park, walked thru your walnut orchard and sat in the hot tub and laid out on the deck under the stars. This is the BEST view of the lake we have ever seen!
